Prayer Burdens for August 26, 2025

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the middle school, high school and college age young people, and prayer for each one during the upcoming school year; let us pray specifically for all the college freshmen, that they would go on in the church life wherever they are and that they would “shine as luminaries in the world” from the beginning of their college years (Phil. 2:15)

2. The burden for the gospel on the college campuses during the new academic year both in NYC and throughout the country

3. Regional Labor Day weekend conferences for the churches in the Mid Atlantic (in Baltimore, MD), the Southeast (in Jacksonville, FL), the Mountain States (in Denver, CO), and Southern California (in Orange County,

4. The Spanish-speaking conference for the churches in the Northeast to be held at Camp Penuel over the weekend of September 5-7

5. The Young Working Saints and Young Families Conference being held at Camp Penuel over the weekend of September 12-14

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for August 19, 2025

1. That all the saints, from the youngest to the oldest, would be strengthened in their daily reading and enjoyment of the Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16-17 — All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His blessing on all the summer events and prayer for the church’s further going on for the rest of the year:
a. That all the saints of all ages would have the burden for the gospel
b. The shepherding of all the saints and all the new ones, that not one would be overlooked
c. The strengthening of all the families and households in the church life
d. The strengthening of the church meetings and small group meetings this week

3. The upcoming new school year:
a. That all the children and the young people would be preserved and “let (their) light shine” (Matt. 5:16)
b. Prayer for the new arrangements in the children’s meeting and young people’s services in all nine halls
c. Prayer for all the college students on all the campuses throughout the NYC metropolitan area

4. The fall term of the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA), the training extension in Boston (FTTA-XB), and all the full-time trainings all over the earth (e.g. Mexico City, Mexico; Caacupe, Paraguay; London, UK; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Taipei, Taiwan; Hamilton, New Zealand)

5. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for August 12, 2025

1. The Family Bible Camp which will be held from Thursday through Saturday at Camp Penuel

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His blessing on the Summer School of Truth and prayer for the going on of all the young people in the coming school year

3. The fall term of the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) and the training extension in Boston (FTTA-XB) which began yesterday–There are currently two trainees from NYC in Anaheim: Lily Fang and Michelle Quin; we give thanks to the Lord for the consecration of these young saints; let us pray that the Lord would gain each one fully and produce each one as a living, functioning member of His Body

4. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The strengthening of the churches in France and that many new ones will become remaining fruit, shepherded and perfected, built up and built in as members of the Body
b. The preparations for the gospel trips to German-speaking countries which will take place in October
c. The preparations for the gospel outreach which will take place in Italy during the upcoming Winter Olympic games in February 2026

5. The church meetings, the small group meetings and all the practical services in all nine halls this week

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for August 5, 2025

1. The strengthening of the prayer of the saints: personally, by 2s & 3s, between the couples, in the families, in the brothers’ houses and sisters’ houses, in the small groups, in the sisters’ prayer groups, in the service groups, and in the weekly church prayer meetings

Ephesians 6:18 — By means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.
1 Timothy 2:1 — I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men.

2. The conclusion of the middle school section of the Northeast Summer School of Truth going on this week at Camp Penuel (KPCC) up until Thursday (the topic of the lessons this year is The Bible–The Word of God)–Let us offer thanksgiving to the Lord for richly blessing the high school section of the truth school last week and let us pray for the remaining days of the middle section this week; let us pray for the hearts of all the young people and their receiving of the word, for all the serving saints, for the ministry of the word in the larger corporate sessions, for the mutual fellowship in the small group sessions, for the shepherding of the young people, for the weather, for the health and safety of all the saints, and for the KPCC camp staff

3. The Family Bible Camp which will be held August 14-16 at Camp Penuel

4. The burden for the gospel–That all the saints would have the burden for the gospel and seize every opportunity for the speaking of the gospel “in season and out of season” (2 Tim. 4:2)

5. That the Lord would supply the churches in Atlanta, GA and in Dublin, Ireland with the funds necessary to build or purchase a proper meeting hall for the strengthening of the church life in these localities and the surrounding regions

Prayer Burdens for July 29, 2025

1. The high school section of the Northeast Summer School of Truth going on this week at Camp Penuel (KPCC) up until this coming Lord’s Day (the topic of the lessons this year is The Bible–The Word of God); the middle school section will be held next week (August 3-7)–Let us pray for the hearts of all the young people and their receiving of the word, for all the serving saints, for the ministry of the word in the larger corporate sessions, for the mutual fellowship in the small group sessions, for the shepherding of the young people, for the weather, for the health and safety of all the saints, and for the KPCC camp staff
2. The second and final week of the Chinese-speaking Perfecting Training which begins tomorrow through this upcoming Lord’s Day in Cerritos, CA
 
3. The Family Bible Camp which will be held August 14-16 at Camp Penuel
 
4. The church meetings, the small group meetings and all the practical services in all nine halls this week, and the shepherding of all the saints
 
5. The Lord’s move in Europe:

Prayer Burdens for July 22, 2025

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His faithful shepherding of the church in NYC and prayer for the Lord to take the church on for the remainder of this year according to the three banners for the church in 2025:

· Numbering our days (Psa. 90:12)–That we all would learn to “number our days” and redeem the time so that every day would have eternal value before the Lord
· Magnifying Christ (Phil. 1:20)–That we all would magnify Christ in our daily lives
· Maturing in life (Col. 1:28-29)–That we all would grow in life daily unto maturity

2. The Chinese-speaking Perfecting Training which begins tomorrow (July 23-27 at Camp Penuel and July 30-August 3 in Cerritos, CA)

3. The Northeast Summer School of Truth which begins this upcoming Lord’s Day afternoon at Camp Penuel (July 27-August 3 for high schoolers and August 3-7 for middle schoolers)–The topic of the lessons this year is The Bible–The Word of God

4. The Family Bible Camp (August 14-16 at Camp Penuel)

5. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The European Young People’s Conference and Family Conference to be held in Male Ciche, Poland from July 27-August 2
b. The need in Dublin, Ireland and in Riga, Latvia for a suitable meeting hall
c. The preparations for the gospel outreach which will take place in Italy during the upcoming Winter Olympic games in February 2026
