Prayer Burdens for June 15, 2021

1. The going on of the church in NYC:
a. The daily, normal growth in life of all the saints (Eph. 3:17; 4:15-16)
b. The mutual shepherding of all the saints
c. The reaching out to those who have not been attending the meetings regularly
d. The strengthening of all the small group meetings and church meetings this week

2. The young people:
a. For those newly saved fifth graders who will be baptized this coming weekend and that those who were baptized last weekend will walk in newness of life (Rom. 6:4)
b. That the Lord would lead and bless all the young saints who have graduated or are graduating from high school or college this semester

3. All the upcoming summer events:
a. The semiannual training in July
b. The summer college training
c. The Chinese-speaking perfecting training
d. The Summer School of Truth
e. The Family Bible Camp

4. A conference for all the churches in Africa this upcoming weekend on the burden for the care of the children and young people (this will be the first conference of this nature for the churches in Africa)

5. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for June 8, 2021

1. The shining of the lampstand in NYC:
a. The strengthening of the saints’ daily personal contact with the Lord in His word and their daily walk with the Lord (Col. 3:16; Gal. 5:25)
b. That all the saints would shine as luminaries in the world, holding forth the word of life, in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation (Phil. 2:15-16)

2. The follow-up of the preaching of the gospel to the children in grade 5; let us pray:
a. That each one of the children who received the Lord would have the assurance and joy of salvation
b. For their baptisms–Some will be baptized this weekend and others the following weekend
c. For household salvation in each family

3. All the upcoming summer events:
a. The semiannual training in July
b. The Summer College Training
c. The Chinese-speaking perfecting training
d. The Summer School of Truth
e. The Family Bible Camp

4. The small group meetings, the church meetings and all the services in all nine halls of the church this week–That the Lord would grant us wisdom and all the saints would be guided by the arbitrating peace of Christ as the church moves gradually back to in-person Lord’s Day meetings in all the meeting halls

5. Gospel to All the Nations Conference–The next in a series of online conference meetings with the focus of reaching the seekers in the African-American community and among those of African descent will be held this upcoming Saturday, June 12 (www.gospeltoallthenations.com)

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for June 1, 2021

1. That all the saints would aspire to come to the full knowledge of the truth, be absolute for the truth and proclaim the truth so that the church would be the pillar and base of the truth in the present evil age (1 Tim. 2:4; 3:15)

2. The Summer School of Truth Teachers’ Training this upcoming Saturday, June 5, in preparation for the 2021 Northeast Summer School of Truth to be held in August

3. The follow-up of the preaching of the gospel to the children in grade 5; let us pray:
a. That each one of the children who received the Lord would have the assurance and joy of salvation
b. For their baptisms
c. For household salvation in each family

4. The small group meetings, the church meetings and all the services in all nine halls of the church this week

5. The strengthening and spread of the Lord’s testimony in the United States:
a. The ongoing migrations to various cities in the Midwest, Mid Atlantic and the Southeast and the strengthening of these churches
b. That many young adults would rise up to answer the call to meet the Lord’s need in this country
c. That every existing local church would be strengthened and that many more churches would be raised up, including churches in the surrounding towns and cities around and near the larger localities

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer burdens for May 25, 2021

1. That all the saints would put on “the breastplate of faith and love and a helmet, the hope of salvation” (1 Thes. 5:8) in fighting the spiritual warfare
2. The Memorial Day weekend conference (https://www.churchinnyc.org/announcements/2021-memorial-day-conference/)–The general subject of the conference is Knowing the Truth, Being Absolute for the Truth and Proclaiming the Truth in the Present Evil Age
3. The follow-up of the preaching of the gospel to the children in grade 5–This past Lord’s Day, at least 20 children prayed to receive the Lord.  Let us pray:
    a. That each one of them would have the assurance and joy of salvation
    b. For their baptisms
    c. For household salvation in each family
4. All the upcoming summer events:
    a. The semiannual training in July
    b. The Summer College Training
    c. The Chinese-speaking perfecting training
    d. The Summer School of Truth
