Prayer Burdens

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for this nation and prayer that the Lord would exercise His sovereignty over all the elections taking place in the U.S. today at the local and state levels and that His will would be done for the sake of His testimony in this city, in this nation, and in all the earth

Daniel 4:25b, 26b — …the Most High is Ruler over the kingdom of men and gives it to whomever He wills…the heavens do rule.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 — I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men; on behalf of kings and all who are in high position, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all godliness and gravity.

2. The citywide young people’s meeting which will be held this upcoming Saturday in Hall 1 beginning at 5pm

3. The citywide Senior Saints’ Conference which will be held on Saturday, November 21, in Hall 1

4. The International Thanksgiving Blending Conference to be held in Denver, CO over the weekend of November 26-29

5. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The first Lord’s table of the church in Turin, Italy will be held this upcoming Lord’s Day
b. The 2026 Autumn University Students Conference which will take place this upcoming weekend in Wales
c. The need for a meeting hall in Lisbon, Portugal–The saints in Lisbon have found a very suitable property which could serve as a meeting hall for the church; let us pray that the Lord would supply the finances for the purchase of this property

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for blessing this past weekend’s regional conference with His presence and His speaking; let us pray that the Spirit of reality would guide each saint into all the reality of the word which was spoken concerning The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and let us pray that the Lord would bless every locality represented in the conference

Exodus 3:15 — And God also said to Moses, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.

2. The Fall College Retreat being held at Camp Penuel this upcoming weekend for the churches in New York, New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania

3. The 2026 Korean-speaking Conference of the Americas which will be held this upcoming weekend both in person for the Southern California saints at the church in Arcadia, CA meeting hall, and online via Zoom for saints in all other regions

4. The Lord’s move in South America–Let us pray for the truth school teachers’ training which will be held in São Paulo, Brazil this upcoming weekend; more than 350 saints from all over South America will be gathered together for this training (the truth schools will be carried out in eight countries throughout South America in the early part of 2027)

5. The Lord’s move in the United States–That the Lord would strengthen all the believers throughout the nation to not be ashamed of the gospel and to hunger for the truth, and that He would preserve this nation for the preaching of the gospel and the spread of His testimony

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for answering the prayers of the church regarding the citywide gospel meeting this past Saturday and prayer for the proper follow up and shepherding of all who attended, including those who were saved and baptized, and those who returned to the Lord, as well as prayer for the gospel burden to continue in all the saints

2. The regional conference which will be held this upcoming weekend in Hall 1–Let us pray for the release of the word, that the word would meet the need of His church and strengthen all the saints to advance in their pursuit of Christ, for the gathering of all the saints from NYC and the surrounding churches and for all the practical services supporting the conference sessions

3. Prayer for the going on of the church in Newington and all the churches in Connecticut, and thanksgiving to the Lord for supplying the church in Newington with the funds necessary to purchase a home in a strategic location just outside of the University of Connecticut (UConn) campus in Storrs, CT

4. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The International Blending Conference for the churches in Europe being held in Baarlo, Netherlands this upcoming weekend
b. That the social unrest in France and in other parts of Europe would not affect the church life and for the safety all the saints

5. The 2026 Korean-speaking Conference of the Americas which will be held over the weekend of October 31-November 1 both in person for the Southern California saints at the church in Arcadia, CA meeting hall, and online via Zoom for saints in all other regions

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. The strengthening of the prayer of the saints, personally, by 2s & 3s, between the couples, in the families, in the brothers’ houses and sisters’ houses, in the small groups, in the sisters’ prayer groups, in the service groups, and in the weekly church prayer meetings

Ephesians 6:18 — By means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.

5. The churches on the east coast–The various needs related to the construction, renovation or acquisition of meeting halls in Virginia Beach, Pittsburgh, and Orlando

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. The shepherding of all the saints and all the new ones

2. Chinese-speaking conference for the churches in New York State at Camp Penuel this upcoming weekend

3. Gospel meeting in Hall 1 on Saturday, October 17

4. The churches in Upstate NY and the blending conference which will be held over the weekend of October 17-18 in Syracuse, NY

5. The regional conference which will be held over the weekend of October 23-25 in Hall 1

6. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The strengthening of the new local church in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, which celebrated their first Lord’s table meeting this past Lord’s Day, and the strengthening of all the local churches raised up in Europe within the past few years, such as Nanterre, Toulouse, and Lille (all in France), in Prato (Italy), and Urk (Netherlands)
b. That the Lord would provide the funds for the renovation of the meeting halls of the churches in Stuttgart, Germany and Riga, Latvia

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His speaking in the International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones (ITERO) held in Amsterdam, Netherlands this past week–The general subject of the messages was The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; let us pray for all the responsible brothers in the churches throughout the earth, and that the Lord’s word would not return to Him empty, but “accomplish what He delights in” and “prosper in the matter to which He sent it” (Isa. 55:11)

2. The citywide young people’s meeting which will be held in Hall 1 this upcoming Saturday

3. Gospel meeting in Hall 1 on Saturday, October 17

4. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His constant and all-inclusive care for the church in NYC and prayer for the church’s further going on:
a. The shepherding of all the saints and all the new ones
b. The strengthening of the church meetings and small group meetings this week
c. The strengthening of the all the service groups, that there would be genuine building up in all the service groups

5. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The first Lord’s table in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg is scheduled for this upcoming Lord’s Day; the church in Esch-sur-Alzette is the first local church being raised up in Luxembourg
b. That the Lord would provide the funds for the renovation of the meeting halls of the churches in Stuttgart, Germany and Riga, Latvia
