Prayer Burdens for September 21, 2021

1. That all the saints would be strengthened in their personal fellowship with the Lord every morning and in their daily reading and enjoyment of the Word of God

1 Corinthians 1:9–God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord

Colossians 3:16a--Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…

2. Young Working Saints and Young Couples Conference for the churches in the Northeast this upcoming weekend–Let us pray:
a. For the release of the burden of the word of the Lord and that the word would meet the need of all the saints
b. That through this conference all the young working saints and young couples would be strengthened to enter more into their full function in the church life wherever they are, and that as a result, all the churches in the Northeast would be strengthened and built up
c. For all the arrangements for the saints gathering in person at KPCC and for the saints joining the conference online (conference link will be available on the church website “www.churchinnyc.org” and the church app)

3. The young people and college saints–That all the middle school, high school and college saints would “hold forth the word of life” and “shine forth as luminaries in the world,” “in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation” (Philippians 2:15-16)

4. The strengthening of all the small group meetings and church meetings this week, whether in person or online

5. The Lord’s move in the United States:
a. That the Lord would preserve this nation for the preaching of the gospel and the spread of His testimony
b. For the preaching of the gospel on all the high school and college campuses wherever the saints attend all over the country
c. For the gaining of many children, and eventually families, through neighborhood children’s meetings

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for September 14, 2021

1. The strengthening of the church life in NYC:
a. The mutual shepherding of all the saints through personal contact, visitation and the home meetings
b. The health and the going on of all the elderly saints
c. The strengthening of the relationships in all of the families in the church, particularly all the families with children, and that the Lord would have the preeminence in every household
d. All the corporate living arrangements among the saints in the brothers’ houses and sisters’ houses
e. The arrangements for the children’s meeting service and the young people’s service in all nine halls
f. That the Lord would strengthen all of the church meetings and that He would cover and bless all the arrangements for the in-person meetings in the halls and all the online meetings

2. The new semester–That all the middle school, high school and college saints would be “seeds of the gospel” in their campuses, both locally and across the entire country

3. Young Working Saints and Young Couples Conference over the weekend of September 25-26

4. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The migration of burdened saints to six designated European cities—Barcelona, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Rome, and Zurich
b. The university training being conducted this week in Ireland, the UK and Poland–The subject of the training is Rise up and Build, closely following the content of the past Summer College Training in the United States

5. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for September 7, 2021

1. That all the saints would “be empowered in the Lord” and “put on the whole armor of God” in order to engage in the spiritual warfare

Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength.  Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.

2. The Spanish-speaking conference for the churches in the Northeast to be held this upcoming weekend

3. The new semester:
a. That all the middle school, high school and college saints would be burdened for the gospel and be witnesses for the Lord on their campuses, both locally and across the entire country
b. The arrangements among all of the families in the church for their children to return to school for the Fall semester

4. The arrangements for the children’s meeting service and the young people’s service in all nine halls

5. The purchase of the new meeting hall in the Upper West Side (Hall 6) for the strengthening of the church life and the spread of the Lord’s testimony in Manhattan

6. Young Working Saints and Young Couples Conference over the weekend of September 25-26

7. The Lord’s move in various parts of the world:
a. The migration of burdened saints to six designated European cities—Barcelona, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Rome, and Zurich.
b. The preaching of the gospel and the spread of the Lord’s testimony in Cuba, Venezuela and North Korea

8. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for August 31, 2021

1. The Labor Day weekend conference for the churches in Upstate NY

2. Labor Day weekend gospel activities in NYC and gatherings among the saints for mutual shepherding

3. The new semester:
a. That all the middle school, high school and college saints would be burdened for the gospel and be witnesses for the Lord on their campuses
b. The arrangements among all of the families in the church for their children to return to school for the Fall semester

4. The need for more corporate living arrangements for college saints and young working saints, including a number of saints who either have recently moved or are in the process of moving to NYC for work or school

5. That the Lord would strengthen all of the church meetings and that He would cover and bless all the arrangements for the in-person meetings in the halls and all the online meetings

6. The churches in Australia–This upcoming weekend there will be a Teachers’ Training (in preparation for the national truth school which will be held in December) and a Parents and Serving Ones’ Conference for the churches in Australia and for a number of the churches in the South Pacific

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for August 24, 2021

1. Shepherding–The mutual shepherding of all the saints, that no one would be isolated or overlooked (1 Cor. 12:20, 22)

2. The gospel–The burden for the gospel among all saints of all ages and all language groups (Rom. 1:9)

3. The church meetings:
a. That every meeting, whether in-person or online, would be an exhibition of the riches of Christ in the Word for the expression of Christ and the feeding of all the attendees (1 Cor. 14:24-26)
b. That the Lord would cover and bless all the arrangements for the in-person meetings in the halls and all the online meetings

4. The young people and college-age saints–That all the young people and college saints would be burdened for the gospel on their campuses and be witnesses for the Lord (Acts 1:8)

5. The Labor Day weekend conference for the churches in Upstate NY

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for August 17, 2021

1. The church life in NYC—That all the saints would have the diligent service for the Lord, the living testimony of the resurrection life of the Lord, and the absolute love poured out upon the Lord as portrayed in John 12

2. The going on of the young people and college-age saints:
a. For their daily contact with the Lord in and through the Word; that they would be sanctified in the truth and that the truth would set them free (John 17:17; 8:32)
b. That in the new school year they all would be “the light of the world” and “let their light shine” to all their friends and classmates and be the seeds of the gospel on all of their campuses (Matt. 5:14, 16)

3. The arrangements for the children’s meeting and the young people’s services during the upcoming school year

4. The new term of the Full-Time Training in Anaheim and the FTTA Extension in Boston

5. The Labor Day weekend conference for the churches in Upstate NY

6. Any saints’ relatives who live in Haiti, as well as all the people of Haiti, in the aftermath of the earthquake which struck that country this past weekend

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)
