Prayer Burdens

1. The International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones (ITERO) to be held in Warsaw, Poland later this week–The general subject of the messages will be Living in the Reality of the Kingdom of God; let us pray for the release of the Lord’s speaking during the training, for all the speaking brothers as well as all the attendees, for the health, safety and travel of all the brothers, for the Lord’s covering of all the practical services related to the training, particularly the audio and video service, and for the all the trainings being held remotely via video in so many localities throughout the earth, including NYC

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His blessing and His speaking in the Northeast High School Juniors & Seniors Retreat held this past weekend–Let us pray for the further operation of the Lord’s word in the hearts of all the young people and for the high school seniors as they consider before the Lord which colleges to apply to

3. Let us pray for the preservation of all the children in the church in the midst of this dark age and for their preparation to be vessels for the Lord; let us pray for all the parents to have the wisdom to “nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4) and that there would be an atmosphere of love in every home

4. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. The urgent need for saints who are available to participate in shepherding trips to France to care for the seeking ones who were contacted during the recent gospel trips
b. One-year visas for full-timers migrating to France–So far, four graduates of the FTTA Extension in Boston and two serving families have applied to receive a one-year visa to live and serve in France; let us pray that these saints and those who apply after them will receive the needed visas

5. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His speaking in the Young Working Saints and Young Families Conference this past weekend and prayer for the going on of all these saints, that each of them would grow in life and come into their full function in the Body for the strengthening of all the churches in the Northeast

2. The Northeast High School Juniors & Seniors Retreat (grades 11 & 12) which will be held at Camp Penuel this upcoming weekend

3. The International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones (ITERO) to be held in Warsaw, Poland from October 4-6

4. The church meetings, the small group meetings and all the practical services in all nine halls this week

5. The church in Sacramento, CA–Let us pray for the going on of the church and that the Lord would provide the funds necessary for the purchase of a facility which they have found that would be very adequate for use as a meeting hall for the church and for regional blending

6. The Lord’s move in Europe:
a. One-year visas for full-timers migrating to France–So far, four graduates of the FTTA Extension in Boston and two serving families have applied to receive a one-year visa to live and serve in France; let us pray that these saints and those who apply after them will receive the needed visas
b. Chinese-speaking conference in Paris this upcoming weekend
c. First Lord’s table meeting in Vicenza, Italy this upcoming Lord’s Day

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His blessing on the citywide young people’s meeting held this past Saturday and prayer for the going on of the middle school and high school age young people during the school year

2. Prayer for all of our college age young people and for the gospel to go out on all the college campuses here in NYC and throughout the nation

3. The Young Working Saints and Young Families Conference being held at Camp Penuel this upcoming weekend

4. The Northeast High School Juniors & Seniors Retreat which will be held at Camp Penuel over the weekend of September 27-29

1. That all the saints would put on “the breastplate of faith and love and a helmet, the hope of salvation” (1 Thes. 5:8) and “not lose heart” as they face the “momentary lightness of affliction” (2 Cor. 4:16-17) in their daily lives

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the children and middle school and high school and college age young people, and prayer for each one during this new school year; let us also pray for the citywide young people’s meeting being held this upcoming Saturday night in Hall 1

3. Thanksgiving to the Lord for blessing the Spanish-speaking conference this past weekend and prayer for the going on of all the saints and the strengthening of all the churches in the Northeast

4. The Young Working Saints and Young Families Conference being held at Camp Penuel over the weekend of September 20-22

5. The Northeast High School Juniors & Seniors Retreat which will be held at Camp Penuel over the weekend of September 27-29

6. The strengthening of the churches in Japan–This upcoming weekend there will be a national conference in Tokyo for all the churches in Japan with brother Ed Marks

7. The church in Sacramento, CA–Let us pray for the going on of the church and that the Lord would provide the funds necessary for the purchase of a facility which would be very adequate for use as a meeting hall for the church and for regional blending

All the children and young people during the upcoming school year–Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the children and all the middle school and high school young people, and prayer for each one during the upcoming school year; let us pray that they all would be preserved and that they would all let their light shine before men

2. The burden for the gospel on the college campuses during the new academic year both in NYC and throughout the country

3. The Spanish-speaking conference for the churches in the Northeast to be held at Camp Penuel this upcoming weekend; the general subject of the conference will be Life and Building as Revealed in Song of Songs

4. The Young Working Saints and Young Families Conference being held at Camp Penuel over the weekend of September 20-22

5. The Lord’s move in the United States–That the Lord would preserve this nation for the preaching of the gospel and for the spread of His testimony at the consummation of the age

6. The follow up to the gospel outreach and Bible distribution at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris and the ongoing gospel outreach at the Paralympic Games

7. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the middle school, high school and college age young people, and prayer for each one during the upcoming school year; let us pray specifically for all the college freshmen, that they would go on in the church life wherever they are and that they would let their light shine before men from the beginning of their college years (Matt. 5:16)

2. The burden for the gospel on the college campuses during the new academic year both in NYC and throughout the country
a. The release of a campus room at NYU for the students’ Bible study

3. The blending conference for the churches in the Mid Atlantic states being held in Philadelphia, PA this upcoming weekend

4. The Lord’s move in Australia and New Zealand–This upcoming Friday there will be a Teachers’ Training in Sydney, Australia for all the churches in Australia and New Zealand in preparation for the summer schools of truth (which will be held at the end of this year); then over the weekend there will be a conference for the parents and serving ones of the children and young people

5. The Spanish-speaking conference for the churches in the Northeast to be held at Camp Penuel over the weekend of September 6-8

6. The fall term of the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) and the training extension in Boston (FTTA-XB)–There are currently 5 trainees from NYC in Anaheim: Esther Chai, Lily Fang, Michelle Quin, Miguel Carbajal, Michelle Wang, and 1 trainee in Boston: Benjamin Cooley
